Government is cutting through red tape: VICTORIES

From our latest research study on government regulation Prosperity Restricted by Red Tape we learned that a shocking:

• 73 per cent of members say that regulations cause significant stress 
• 62 percent say that complying with regulations takes time away from friends and family 
• 26 per cent of business owners say that if they had known the burden of regulation, they may not have gone into business

This was unacceptable to us and we made sure we told the government – and they’re listening!

We are happy to announce that the following governments have participated in CFIB’s first ever Red Tape Awareness Week and have made public statements to show their support in helping to reduce the amount of government regulations small businesses currently face.
