Rod Snyder
Rod has deep roots in Manitoba. Born in The Pas, his family moved to Winnipeg when Rod was a young child. After attending college, he started his career in the transportation industry by joining the sales team at Cummins Mid-Canada a diesel engine distributor. In 1991 he and 2 other partners took the opportunity to become the Freightliner Truck Dealer in Winnipeg. Since 1991, Freightliner Manitoba Ltd. has opened two more locations and increased its staff to 110 employees. Rod has been involved in many commitees and focus groups within Freightliner Corporation including the role of President of the computer users council for five years.
Rod currently lives in Winnipeg with his partner Trista and his step-son Christian. Rod enjoys a life long passion for motorcycles and spends his free time riding, maintaining and building motorcycles with his friends and family. Rod has been actively involved in the Manitoba Roadracing Association (MRA) and is a past President.
