Eco fees poorly executed: Business group
Ontario businesses won't allow themselves to be turned into scapegoats for a poorly executed eco fee program, says Satinder Chera, of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
"Governments are great at passing laws and when things go right they're the first to take credit for it. But whenever there is backlash, they're the first to run for the door," said Chera. "And on this particular one, they're trying to hang businesses out to dry - and I don't think it's going to work."
