I love the holidays. It's an opportunity to look back on the past, celebrate the present, and most importantly, look forward to the future. That's our goal with this edition of Mandate: To help you prepare for the New Year. You'll find important updates on tax changes, like Employment Insurance, and other issues that will affect your business in the coming year. We've also included some tips for saving money in 2011. Who doesn't want to save a little extra?

The New Year brings something special for CFIB too - our 40^th anniversary of being the big voice for small business. Now that's something to look forward to! Check out the special message from our President, Catherine Swift on the back page.
