Alberta's Minimum Wage increased September 1, 2011

 

Alberta's minimum wage rose as of September 1, 2011.  For most categories of employees, the rate is $9.40 an hour.  The exception are those who serve liquor as a regular part of their job duties, their rate of pay as of September 1, 2011 is $9.05.
