Today the Canadian Federation of Independent Business congratulated the Ghiz government and Innovation and Advanced Learning Minister Allen Roach for acknowledging 2011 as the Year of the Entrepreneur. CFIB has promoted this designation across Canada to recognize the hard work and innovative solutions made by entrepreneurs in our communities.

"We're thrilled to have this acknowledgement which recognizes the important role entrepreneurs play on Prince Edward Island," said Leanne Hachey, CFIB's Vice President Atlantic. "Entrepreneurs across the Island make tremendous social and economic contributions to the province that too often goes unnoticed."
