Prime Minister Harper vows to cut red tape

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, keynote speaker Prime Minister Stephen Harper highlighted Canada's economic strengths and framed the plans to secure long-term prosperity for Canadian citizens in a difficult global environment.

In his speech, the Prime Minister said his government is committed to regulatory reform which "complements work we are already doing, and that we will move forward on, with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business to cut the burden of red tape on entrepreneurs."

CFIB is very pleased the Prime Minister made this public commitment shortly after our recent Red Tape Awareness WeekTM.
