The Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA) – What you need to know

The Canada Consumer Product Safety Act came into effect on June 20^th, 2011. The purpose of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act is to protect the public by addressing or preventing dangers to human health or safety that are posed by consumer products in Canada. If you are a manufacturer, importer, retailer, advertiser, product tester or product packager of a consumer product, this act applies to you.
