St. John’s City Council recently opened the drive-thru debate when it decided it was in the best interest to regulate the minimum distance between drive-thrus and residential properties for future commercial developments. We were there to support our members and the entrepreneurs who plan to open businesses with drive-thrus in our capital city.

While we agree that provincial health care costs need to be controlled, just like overall government spending, we also feel that pharmacy owners should have a voice in negotiations on the new generic drug policy.
