The big money ‘creeping’ out of your wallet

Nova Scotians pay some of the highest taxes in the country. One of the reasons is because Nova Scotia doesn't index its personal income tax system to inflation, even though government had committed to do just that in 2011. This means Nova Scotians get hit with a hidden tax increase every year, courtesy of inflation, known as 'bracket creep'.
