Optimism among the Island’s small business owners showed signs of improvement in March, but remains lowest in the country. The Canadian Federation of Independent Business’ (CFIB) Business Barometer® Index for Prince Edward Island now sits at 57.9, up from 53.0 in February. Despite the one-month jump, PEI’s results are well below the national index of 67.7.
