Confidence remains strong among Saskatchewan’s entrepreneurs

According to the latest monthly Business Barometer® index, confidence levels among entrepreneurs in Saskatchewan remained strong at an index of 72.1 in April from an index of 72.0 in March, and 5.7 points ahead of the national index of 66.4. Saskatchewan remains the 2nd most optimistic province in Canada.

According to the latest monthly Business Barometer® index, confidence among Saskatchewan's small business owners increased by 1.9 point in March to an index of 72.0, ahead of the national average of 67.7. Saskatchewan remains the 2nd most optimistic province in Canada.

Sask small business optimism dips slightly in December: ranked #2 in Canada

Optimism for the year ahead among small business owners in Saskatchewan dipped slightly by 2 points to an index of 72.2 in December from an index of 74.2 in November and 7.2 points above the national index of 65.0. To celebrate Small Business Week the CFIB released a report: Communities in Boom: Canada’s Top Entrepreneurial Cities which identifies the large and mid-sized Cities in Canada, with populations above 25,000, that have the entrepreneurial edge. Saskatchewan had 4 of the top 10. Find out more here.

Optimism for the year ahead among small business owners in Saskatchewan increased again by 2.8 points to an index of 71.9 in September from an index of 69.1 in August and nine points above the national index of 62.7.

Optimism for the year ahead among small business owners in Saskatchewan dropped slightly by 2.2 points in July to 67.0 from an index of 69.2 in June, and just under the national index of 68.3.

Optimism for the year ahead among small business owners in Saskatchewan decreased by 5.1 points in June to 69.2 from an index of 74.3 in May, but is still ahead of the national index of 66.3.
