CFIB sent Federal, Provincial and Territorial (FPT) agriculture ministers a letter outlining CFIB agri-business members’ top priorities for the Next Agricultural Policy Framework (NPF) in advance of their annual meeting in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
With red tape topping the list, CFIB urged FPT agriculture ministers to make red tape reduction a priority in the NPF, which would include streamlining regulations and improving government service.
Next Steps: CFIB will continue delivering our agri-business members’ views to all levels of government, which is especially important as FPT agriculture ministers finalize the next policy framework in the coming weeks.
