The Mayor of Whitehorse, Dan Curtis, sat down with CFIB's Senior Policy Analyst, Amber Ruddy, for our annual meeting. CFIB raised recommendations regarding:
- Property taxes- the narrowing the differential between what businesses and residents pay on the same assessed property value
- Municipal spending- ensuring operating spending remains at a reasonable amount (inflation adjusted spending + population growth)
- Regulatory reform
Our team is pleased to raise your priorities at our annual meetings with municipal officials in Whitehorse.
