During the election campaign CFIB was pleased to hear commitments to reduce red tape in the Yukon. On January 10, 2017, Sandy Silver Yukon’s Premier, sent a mandate letter to each Minister outlining his priorities for the upcoming term. CFIB was pleased to see there was direction to the Minister of Economic Development and the Minster of Community Services in the mandate letters to, “identify and work to remove regulatory and service impediments to competitiveness.”
In the coming months CFIB will closely monitor the efforts of the new Government to ensure small business priorities are taken into consideration.
