  • Make your voice heard during Saskatchewan’s municipal elections

Ahead of municipal elections, join other business owners in challenging mayors and candidates to stand up for local businesses.

Saskatchewan’s next municipal elections take place on November 9th. This will likely mean changes in local government in many communities.

We are challenging candidates to adopt a set of five small business policies to help improve the business climate in your community. The five policies are:

  • Lower municipal taxes;
  • Limit municipal spending growth;
  • Control labour costs;
  • Reduce red tape; and
  • Develop a construction mitigation strategy.

To learn more about the five policies, visit CFIB’s 2020 Saskatchewan Municipal Elections Platform.
