Talking Together

On January 10th, 2018 the government of Yukon and the City of Whitehorse launched Talking Together: A stronger dialogue between you and your government. This is a joint effort to learn what Yukoners see as meaningful engagement.

More specifically, the government is seeking feedback on how they might be more accountable, transparent, and responsive. With red tape and paper burden being one of Yukoners businesses biggest issues, this is a great opportunity to have your concerns heard.

How to participate

There are a few ways in which you can participate: you can take a short survey online or you can request a hard copy by contacting either [email protected] or call 867-667-5811 (toll-free at 1-800-661-0408). If you would prefer to share your ideas in person, there are also events you can attend.

The Talking Together project is open for feedback until February 26th.

Cannabis legalization is approaching—have your say

On January 11th, 2018 the Government of Yukon released Yukon’s Cannabis Control and Regulation Act – A Draft Legislative Summary for Consultation. On behalf of CFIB’s 200 members in the Yukon, we have submitted written feedback to ensure your small business communities opinions and concerns are being heard.

Although the Government of Yukon deadline to receive feedback is February 12th, we would still like to hear your comments. Hearing from you directly helps us shape our advocacy efforts and ensures we are hitting the right mark for you and your business community.
