Marilyn Braun-Pollon

Vice-President, Prairie & Agri-business

Marilyn Braun-Pollon is the vice-president, Prairie and Agri-business with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB). In this role, Ms. Braun-Pollon serves as the government lobbyist and media spokesperson for CFIB's 5,250 members in Saskatchewan, 4,800 members in Manitoba and our 7,200 Agri-business members across Canada. Working on behalf of small- and medium-sized business, Marilyn pays special attention to such matters as government spending and taxes, workers' compensation, unfair competition, banking and financing matters and labour laws.

Marilyn brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of government after spending a number of years working on the economic development side of both the provincial and federal governments. Marilyn earned a Bachelor of Administration degree from Trinity Western University with a minor in Communications.

In 2001, Marilyn was nominated for Regina's Women of Distinction Awards in the Business, Labour and Professional category. In 2004, SaskBusiness, Saskatchewan's business magazine, named Marilyn one of Saskatchewan's ten most influential women.
