Senior Policy Analyst, National Affairs
As part of the National Affairs team, Ruth Davy is one of CFIB’s Senior Policy Analysts. Since joining CFIB in 2021, Ruth has been working across federal priorities including employment insurance reforms, workplace mental health, COVID-19 relief programs, and labour issues.
Ruth joins the team with a wide array of experience in public policy and public opinion research. She has worked with non-profit and government clients in Canada and New Zealand to explore, define and evaluate policy and program directions for a range of audiences.
Ruth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Linguistics from Carleton University, a Graduate Certificate in Market Research and Business Intelligence from Algonquin College, and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from the University of Auckland with a focus on intercultural communication, inclusion, and engagement with ethnolinguistic minorities in policy development.
