CFIB available for comment on new trade deal

TORONTO, April 6, 2017 – The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) will be reacting to the announcement on Friday of a new Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) between the federal, provincial and territorial governments. In recognition of this achievement, CFIB will be presenting the trade ministers with Special Edition Golden Scissors Awards, the first time this honor has been bestowed outside of CFIB’s annual Red Tape Awareness Week-TM.

The presentation of the awards will occur directly after the announcement of the CFTA. Laura Jones, Executive Vice-President at CFIB, and Corinne Pohlmann, Senior Vice-President of National Affairs and Partnerships, will both be available for comment.
