CFIB members save on Amex
Attract more customers with a lower rate
Toronto, February 1, 2016 – Canadian-owned Payworks is proud to announce it has renewed its partnership with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) to offer CFIB members across Canada exclusive discounted pricing on payroll services. Payworks has been a member of CFIB’s Privilege Programs group of partners since October 2012.
"Payworks is a strong supporter of Canadian independent businesses and we believe the partnership with CFIB is a natural extension of our work to recognize the contributions these entrepreneurs make to their industries," said Mark Johannson, Vice President, Relationship Management at Payworks. "We worked hard to develop an enticing and competitive value offering that would be significant to CFIB members across Canada, so when the opportunity presented itself to continue our participation in CFIB’s partnership program, we didn’t think twice about it. We are confident that the membership will continue to be well-served."
This continued relationship offers CFIB members payroll solutions tailored to their needs. The Simple-and-Smart plan is specifically designed for CFIB members, the majority of which pay fewer than 10 employees. Those members with more employees or more complex needs can choose the Flexible-and-Affordable plan. Both solutions include direct deposits, year-end filing and support, Records of Employment, and online employee self service, helping to reduce paperwork and time spent complying with government requirements.
"Red tape and paperwork are a huge burden, and big concern to small business, so I’m delighted CFIB can continue its partnership with a company that understands the challenges of running a business and specializes in meeting the needs of entrepreneurs" said CFIB president Dan Kelly. "Our partnership with Payworks adds tremendous value to our members — helping them to not only save money, but also time — in meeting their obligations to employees and the demands of various levels of government. I have spoken personally with many members who rave about the customer service and savings Payworks provides them."
As Canada’s largest association of small- and medium-sized businesses, CFIB is Powered by Entrepreneurs™. Established in 1971, CFIB takes direction from more than 109,000 members in every sector nationwide, giving independent business a strong and influential voice at all levels of government and helping to grow the economy.
As a national service provider, Payworks is headquartered in Winnipeg and has presence in 10 regional offices across Canada.
