Funding is now available to improve accessibility and safety in your workplace. The Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF) is a federal Grants and Contributions program that supports the cost of construction and renovations related to improving physical accessibility and safety for people with disabilities.
If you are a small business with 99 employees or less, you may be eligible for funding of up to $100,000 for projects that improve accessibility in workplaces. Projects may include:
- Installing automated doors
- Implementing voice-activated software
- Retrofitting washrooms
- Installing or renovating elevators
- Providing web-based intranet and internet information and applications
The Government of Canada is currently accepting applications from organizations interested in receiving funding from the Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF). Successful applicants can receive up to 65% of eligible project costs.
