Are you ready for the minimum wage increase on April 1, 2017

New Brunswick minimum wage will increase by 35 cents to $11 per hour as of April 1st, 2017. 

All employees paid by salary, commission and for piece work must receive at least minimum wage for every hour worked.

Overtime rate is at least one and one-half times the minimum wage ($16.50 on April 1st, 2017) for each hour they work in excess of 44 hours during a work week.
