CFIB has and continues to work closely with the CRA on service issues, and is pleased that the agency has made a number of improvements, including:
- CRA call centre agents now required to provide their ID number to callers.
- Written advice provided through online My Business Account service will be honoured, even if the advice is wrong.
Former CRA Minister Kerry-Lynne Findlay also won CFIB’s prestigious 2015 Golden Scissors Award for a change to remittance thresholds, which cuts down on paperwork for many small businesses.
