CFIB presents to the Fair Deal Panel

Calgary, February 4, 2020 – The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) is available to comment on its presentation to the Fair Deal Panel today.

Laura Jones (Executive Vice President) and Annie Dormuth (Alberta Provincial Affairs Director) will present recommendations based on results from a national survey of small business owners, including several Alberta specific questions. A key finding is that Alberta businesses strongly support additional education to the rest of Canada on what is happening in the province. Another key finding shows that both inside and outside Alberta the majority of small business owners believe that energy development and environmental protection can go together.
