Focus on Agri-business

CFIB represents 7,200 agri-businesses across Canada, of which 78 per cent are primary producers, and 22 per cent are within the agriculture services sector. These agri-business members operate their farms as businesses, and join CFIB for its advocacy of an entrepreneurial business culture and mission to give independent business a greater voice in determining laws governing business. CFIB makes a bottom-line difference to your agri-business. We speak out on your behalf on key agricultural issues, including: competitive challenges, tax burden, regulation and paper burden, shortage of qualified labour, advocating for the development of farmer-friendly policies, and succession planning.

CFIB creates a better future for Canadian entrepreneurs. Taking direction only from its members since 1971 - over 107,000 nationwide small- and medium-sized businesses in every sector - CFIB has a strong and influential voice at all levels of government.
