The grades are in, and governments across Canada have been marked on how well (or poorly) they are doing in terms of measuring and publicly reporting on the rules, processes and paperwork that they impose on small business.
Here’s how they did:

Many of the grades represent a significant step forward since the first Red Tape Awareness WeekTM, when many jurisdictions did not even acknowledge red tape as a problem, but all jurisdictions continue to have a lot of work to do.
