Does your email marketing put you at risk?

How to ensure that your emails don’t break anti-spam laws

Email is a powerful tool to promote your business.  But with the implementation of the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), you must follow the rules or risk paying fines.

As part of our efforts, CFIB had lobbied the federal government to delay the “ability to sue”, one of the more worrisome elements of the law.  Now it's one less thing to worry about since the government agreed to drop this element on June 7, 2017.  We will continue to pressure the government to recognize how CASL impacts small businesses.

We’ve also partnered with Cyberimpact, a recognized expert in email marketing and CFIB member, to offer three resources that will reduce your legal and financial risk, while helping to increase the success of your email marketing.
