EI for the self-employed

Changes to JobsInNL

As of July 9, 2015, employers wishing to advertise a job opening in Newfoundland and Labrador will be required to use the Government of Canada’s Job Bank rather than JobsinNL.

Microsoft discontinuing Windows Server 2003

On July 14, 2015, Microsoft will no longer provide service or upgrades to its popular Windows Server 2003. A large number of small businesses in Canada presently use this system. However, beginning July 14th of this year, it will no longer be a supported system by its maker and plans must be made to switch or upgrade to a new system.
