This report gives an overview of New Brunswick's small and mid-sized enterprises (SME):

97%: The percentage of businesses in New Brunswick considered small and medium
42,900: The number of self-employed individuals which has grown over the years and represents a significant percentage of total employment in our province;
$500,000: Ceiling for revenue earned by most SMEs;
31.7%: The percentage of workers employed by firms with fewer than 50 employees;
50%: 5-year survival rate for SMEs in most sectors.
