Starting a Business
If you are starting a small business in Newfoundland and Labrador or even if you need advice and expertise, the provincial government offers resources such as Small Business Counselling and a Small Business Guide to walk you through the steps.
Through the Department of Innovation, Business and Rural Development (IBRD), small business counsellors can act as a mentor to provide advice and guidance on your business plan, refer agencies or individuals that may assist you, and provide general counsel on small business matters. For further information and assistance, contact the IBRD office nearest you.
