Anthony Nutt
Anthony Nutt is President of Build North Construction Inc. which became incorporated in May of 1985. He is also President of ServiceMaster of Sudbury, an associated franchise company which was incorporated in June 1987. Anthony`s business partner and wife, Tracy Nutt is Vice President and financial manager. They have a combined full time staff in excess of 60 people. Their areas of service are commercial and residential construction, insurance restoration and janitorial cleaning.
Mr. Nutt was born in Huntsville, Ontario in 1957 and was raised in Sudbury. He graduated from high school in 1975 and entered the construction industry with a local firm that operated in similar areas that Build North Construction continues to service today. He completed the Ministry of Universities and Colleges Apprenticeship in General Carpentry at the advanced level. As a journeyman carpenter, he successfully completed many projects both large and small which eventually allowed for project supervision and leadership. Those opportunities assisted with the decision to become self-employed in the industry his company now services.
Mr. Nutt has been a board member of the Association of Canadian Travelers for many years and worked on various committees. He also served on several leadership committees with ServiceMaster of Canada representing the franchise network in the Steering Committee and Regional Marketing Program. He is currently a Board member of the Sudbury Construction Association where he will be vice president next year. He is also an associate member of the Ontario General Contractors Association and the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce.
