Dear Members,
I am really excited about my new role as Vice-President, Quebec for CFIB.
Joining CFIB is actually joining a force of 24,000 independent business owners in Quebec who are helping to build a prosperous society, day by day. I want you to know that I am deeply honoured to have been given this opportunity.
I grew up behind the counter of a drug store. Many years later, I founded my own government relations firm that I managed for nine years. I have thus experienced firsthand the many challenges that Quebec entrepreneurs face.
Stringent regulatory framework, government bureaucracy and punishing tax rates are just three of the obstacles slowing the growth—and even the survival—of our small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). That is why I plan to vigorously defend your interests, while continuing to support the battles being waged by CFIB on your behalf.
The trust and commitment that each of you has demonstrated by joining CFIB and remaining loyal to it are what keep our organization strong. Together, we have unique and unequalled strength. I am very proud to be a part of an organization that is Powered by Entrepreneurs.
My commitment to each of you is that I will deliver your messages and defend your interests with passion and conviction.
