Small business owners were asked the following question: How do you rate the local government where your business is situated on the following business issues? The five areas that they were asked to rate included taxation, value for money, government salaries, by-laws and regulation, and overall awareness of the small business sector. The questions were asked in-person by CFIB representatives as part of a wider survey on a range of business issues.
