BC Government declares Red Tape Awareness Week

Minister of Finance, Kevin Falcon proclaimed January 16th to January 20th, 2012, as Red Tape Awareness Week in British Columbia.
The Minister was on hand at Goldilocks Bakery in Vancouver with owner Maj Yee, a long standing CFIB member, to present Laura Jones, Senior VP, Research, Economics and Western Canada with the proclamation declaring the week.
CFIB has been the leading voice in BC on red tape reduction and was thrilled that the Government through this proclamation and their actions recognize the importance of reducing red tape on the small business community.
