Taylor Brown

Senior Policy Analyst, Agri-Business and National Affairs

As a senior policy analyst, Taylor Brown supports CFIB's national legislative team with a focus on environmental policy and agriculture, advocating on behalf of farmers and small-business owners across the country. Taylor researches and advocates on several issues including carbon backstop programs, environmental regulations, and the regulatory burden on small business owners.

Born and raised in Southern Manitoba, Taylor has extensive knowledge and personal ties to the Prairies. Prior to relocating to Calgary and joining CFIB in 2021, Taylor worked in policy for the Government of Manitoba’s Department of Advanced Education, Skills and Immigration. Taylor also has work experience as a project coordinator at a remote research station on Hudson Bay, as well as with the University of Manitoba’s Office of Sustainability.

Taylor holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Hons.) from the University of Manitoba, as well as a Master of Arts in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa.
